The Musician Union of Ghana is geared to carry out a memorial concert for the late John Jerry Rawlings.
Speaking on HitzFm’s Daybreakhitz entertainment morning show on Tuesday, the acting president of the Union had divulge details in regards.
He said it has become neccersary for the Union to come up with such a concert in honour of the late former president because during his days, he had a good relationship with the Musician Union.
He continue to say that it was the former president who had given the Musician Union its first office.
Besa Simons has promulgated that the concert is going to be virtual and will stream live on Adom TV and on the Union’s official YouTube page.
Reacting to the current state of the MUSIGHA and it’s presidential election, Besa had communicated that all is calm and the next thing is the big election.
He said “everything is calm at the Union as at now and the next thing you will hear is our elections. I think there is no need for us to put two people together to face each other on radio – let’s ensure a peaceful MUSIGA elections”.
Late John Jerry Rawlings died on 20th November 2020 after battling a short sickness.
